What, each person can only get a page done before spanking themselves into a coma? I guess you'd have to be Legion in that case, else you'd never finish Tongue

Yeah. Having problems connecting to the server. Keeps saying my connection has timed out.
Also, how do I download using the client
and how do I download older updates.
In layman's terms would be preferrable as I have no understanding of IRC clients what so ever.

1)ok first you´ll need a client
click the attachment in mado´s posthttp://www.kindan-no-aku.com/Forum/index.php?topic=111.0(the small thing called mirc.rar) unzip and start the mirc.exe

2)wait for sum secs (can take longer) until you´ve connected to our channel(that´s the case if it looks like this:

3)Now we´ll see what´s available for dl...
click the web adress next to "[KNA]Shizuka Packlist" it´ll open a popup(just click ok) and then a browser window will open. this is the socalled "packlist".

In my example I´ll take the file "[KnA] Bastard!!_v02_ch10.rar" (the blue circled one).
to get it you´ll have to copy the "/msg [KnA]Shizuka xdcc send x" part without the "x"(red circled) and paste it into your client window. DO NOT YET PRESS ENTER!!
Before we do that you´ll have to add the packnumber of the file you want, in our case 6 (the green circled one) check if it looks like this:

Make sure you´ve typed it correctly(here: /msg [KnA]Shizuka xdcc send #6)
if everythings correct press enter.
now your dl will start.

history:
green= packnumber
red= request line (/msg [KnA]Shizuka xdcc send)
blue= nvm that><

PS:someone should bow down to my greatness.....lol^^

I have the client and it's mirc.exe. the one that's configured to connect. but it keeps saying my connection has timed out. what's the deal with that?
also, thank you very very much for the tutorial. The pics are extremely helpful.

Hmm
It would be a lot easier if you guys download XDCC Browser www.XDCCBrowser.com

It will help you search and download those XDCCs easier.
mIRC by itself is quite messy until you get used to it.
